Paycom is the WORST
The site itself is glitchy, and the login doesn't work consistently. Often I get a message that my username and password are incorrect, only to change and still experience the same issue--after the hassle of entering my security questions and switching to another secure password. I hope my company changes vendors. Paycom is the worst. The attached photo is only one of the latest issues I've experienced. Sometimes the login doesn't work in Chrome, sometimes not in Safari. What are customers supposed to use, Netscape? I have to access the site from Turkey, and the issues never stop. Today, I tried repeatedly to log in with multiple browsers, but could not do so until using a proxy vpn, and could not submit a time sheet because the browser detected that my local time was different. Why so many issues? Paycom needs to address these user issues. I work for a large NGO, and I know that many of our employees experience frustration with this site.
Paycom in Los Angeles, California - Payroll Nightmare!
Our company’s experience with Paycom has been nothing short of a nightmare. The implementation was a total failure, which resulted in more in more than 50 employees not getting paid or paid incorrectly on our first payroll. The problem was created by Paycom pulling inactive information from our existing payroll company, and loading the inactive information into Paycom. This created a situation where employees’ direct deposits went into the wrong accounts or closed accounts. The mistakes were not just limited to the direct deposits. Paycom managed to get most of our deductions (Section 125, 401(K), advances, etc.) wrong, as well. We all hoped that once we got passed the implementation failure, the system would work as promised. Unfortunately, the implementation problems were just the tip of the iceberg. We encountered problems with most of Paycom’s products. The ACA software and support was a joke. With our previous payroll provider, ADP, getting the 1095s completed took about 10 minutes, with Paycom it two days. Additionally, our implementation team couldn’t get our GL to work, and managed to make matters worse every time they tried to help. At this time, we are paying our accountant to get our GL fixed, but Paycom messed it up so badly, even our accountant has not been successful in getting the GL work. The ultimate insult to injury was that Paycom underpaid our quarterly taxes by nearly $10,000. Like all of Paycom’s shortcomings, they never took responsibility for their mistake, but blamed ADP for the mistake—even though ADP wasn’t responsible for our taxes during that quarter. Due to all of the issues we had with Paycom, we couldn’t even fire them, until we had these problems corrected. After six agonizing months, and more than $40,000 wasted, we were finally able to terminate our services with Paycom. Choosing Paycom was the biggest, and costliest, mistake our company has ever made.

Generally unhappy with my employer's choice to switch to Paycom in general. At first I thought it was just the adjustment pains of encountering a new way of doing things but that's just not the case. The constant requirement of changing passwords is a COMPLETE nuisance and shows me that this company is not confident in their cybersecurity apparatus. The newest changes are extremely perplexing as it is INFINITELY harder for me to print a hard copy of my pay stub.

Paycom - Current Customer Unhappy
The last company I worked for had Paycom already going when I began, it was a great experience all around. This time, I brought Paycom in when I started working at a new company and there has been nothing but issue after issue. The onboarding process did not set up our PTO accrual correctly, did not have our account information correct. Then we changed our FIEN number and the process to switch over EE's has been awful. My rep assigned to me is way too busy to return my calls or emails in a timely manner. His supervisor has yet to return my last email, nor has he (from last Thursday). I had a horrible time processing my last payroll with the new system. I had no idea Paycom was going to make me switch to a new payroll processing template when we obtained a new FIEN. Overall, we had to spend an additional $450 to upgrade our time clock to work with their new process plus I have spent numerous hours learning the new system and cleaning up mistakes. I feel like my Paycom representative is done with my concerns and am quite disappointed with Paycom. Over the years, I have given Paycom glowing referrals and that has now come to an end. Unfortunately, this is just a small portion of what has been a growing problem over the past year.....

Paycom - Beware!
Paycom's sales team is good. They spend time with you to find out exactly what you need and assure you every step of the way that they can deliver. They were so good we believed them! Unfortunately for us their database can not do what they claimed it would and even worse their implementation team barely knows their own product. What should have been a 12 week implementation process is still in process six months later. Be prepared to do your own implementation and to fix errors that are created by Paycom's implementation team. In the end you'll know more about their product then they do.
Paycom - LOATHE & DESPISE
Miserable pain in the *** for employees to use. When trying to log in or out there are pop ups requesting security questions. You can't do anything until you answer. Can't remember? You're screwed. They want you to take classes to learn their system. Who cares about their system? We have an administrator for that. You try to log in & out & messages of no importance pop up. Nobody cares about Paycom. Real workers just want to punch in and punch out. That's it. Paycom is an interference. Nothing more than a glorified time clock. I prefer the time clock. It doesn't need to know my social security number and where my Mother was born. Just another on line company that's intruding into my privacy. I loathe and despise you every single day - twice.
