With many providers, employers are left to make the transition on their own, but our process is completely unique within the industry. Each of our new clients’ sales reps remain with the client throughout the first payroll, ensuring our clients have the help and support they need to make the process as simple as possible. After that time, clients are transferred to their long-term support specialist. Please note that during the transition process, clients are asked to verify data to ensure accuracy. Your happiness and satisfaction is greatly important to us. It is our goal to ensure we are doing everything possible to help streamline processes to better our clients’ lives.

Implementation Nightmare

We were told we would be able to move off our PEO and the implementation timeline would be 6 weeks. 6 weeks AFTER our roll out date we still do not have a fully built system.

We spend numerous hours going over system specifications that we needed only to find out we had error due to duplicate ee' ID #'s which we made clear we had duplicates but were insured it wold not be an issue. There were many aspects we had the impression Paycom (after all the information we discussed and delivered to them) would be set up only to find out that half the configuration fell on our shoulders to complete. Multiple Direct Deposit issues on first payroll (hold you ee's responsible for setting up DD again, do not trust Paycom to import correctly! Bottom line if you go with Paycom give yourself AT LEAST 8 weeks to implement and hold them to strict deadlines.

Test everything BEFORE first payroll as reps asked me to wait and test it all out on our first payroll, and do not be afraid to escalte beyond your direct reps. FINALLY make sure you clearly ask what is not included in the base package.

They sell you thinking so many elements are included when really they are add ons. Implementation nightmare but ultimately better then our previous platform for employee ease of use.

Pissed

setting up a program (over a year ago) that you never use. that requires you to have to have all security questions EXACTLY correct.

is terrible. I put in my username, password, of course i know the last 4 of my social. I know every answer to my security questions. but the have to have the EXACT characters in them.....

this isnt the pentagon, im just wanting to make sure im getting taxed properly unlike the previous year.

but thats not imprtant right??? lets just lock me out of my account so that all hopes of getting in to it is futile............

Can't ever get logged in consistently.

It seems like I have to have my employer manually reset my password each and every pay period as the system always says that it can't log in that the site is invalid. What a pain in the ***!

I hope my employer realizes their mistake soon. I previously used ADP at two separate companies and it was reliable and efficient. I also liked that your W-2 info could be automatically populated when doing your tax refund. Paycom just lets you print *** pdfs of pay stubs and W-2s.

Why don't they mail out paper copies if desired?

ADP would. If I were a business owner I would run from this company.

The amanda show website works better than paycom! Paycom is the worst website ever imagined.

Try it on your phone, a lot of the buttons don't work. The important buttons you need to add and change information, dont work.

You can look at other useless things all over. But you can't do anything important or helpful.

Terrible Product and Support Staff

We switched to Paycom as equity owner wanted to cut payroll expenses. Spent endless hours in setup due to the complexity of multiple company codes and numerous shifts with different pay rules.

Fantastic, excellent, we can do that were the comments from Sales and Setup. Young, seemingly bright people but I don't think any of them had any real world knowledge. They certainly didn;t know payroll and their own darn system! You can't even test the system, which I still can't imagine and we had to go live without a real test.

What a disaster. All the work we did completing documents, setting up shifts, pay grades, schedules and down to who belongs in what company code, was like they did nothing with that information. It was a terrible and it continued to be every single payroll. Thank God I left the company.

These people do not have a clue as to what they are doing. We escalated everything to as high as we could go.

Bright young people who kept saying fantastic, excellent and we can do that! If Paycom comes a knocking - do NOT let them in!

Horrible Experience

Salespeople were aggressive, but seemed to know what they were doing. Turns out they were not truthful at all.

We paid an implementation fee up front with a defined set of requirements. They tried to go live with a system that did not meet requirements. Numerous delays and after two failed start-ups we pulled the plug. PAYCOM admitted that they could not meet their commitments and provide a product that worked as promised in the proposal.

Did not even have the decency to refund all or a portion of the upfront fees. Integrity was so bad that I worry that they have our employees personal information.

RUN from this company.
