The last company I worked for had Paycom already going when I began, it was a great experience all around. This time, I brought Paycom in when I started working at a new company and there has been nothing but issue after issue.

The onboarding process did not set up our PTO accrual correctly, did not have our account information correct. Then we changed our FIEN number and the process to switch over EE's has been awful. My rep assigned to me is way too busy to return my calls or emails in a timely manner. His supervisor has yet to return my last email, nor has he (from last Thursday).

I had a horrible time processing my last payroll with the new system. I had no idea Paycom was going to make me switch to a new payroll processing template when we obtained a new FIEN. Overall, we had to spend an additional $450 to upgrade our time clock to work with their new process plus I have spent numerous hours learning the new system and cleaning up mistakes. I feel like my Paycom representative is done with my concerns and am quite disappointed with Paycom.

Over the years, I have given Paycom glowing referrals and that has now come to an end. Unfortunately, this is just a small portion of what has been a growing problem over the past year.....

There were several conversion errors when we switched to Paycom. I was assured that my sales rep had never had a conversion failure.

i would say wrong PTO roll forward and wring YTD 401k contribution totals comes pretty close to a failure. I would suggest anyone converting not rely on the conversion team at Paycom but run your own totals on every category (especially 401k contributions) before and after the conversion.

Now we cannot get any service to correct the problems. We need to issue corrected W2's.

That makes for great employee relations. The sales team will not even respond to my emails and the customer service is extremely indifferent.

Worst decision I have made in 30 years of management.

We fired them. I want free access to our company records for a minimum of 4 years.

This company is horrific. After 29 months of mistakes, inadequacies, lack of proper tracking, and a multitude of other issues, we finally fired them.

We lost employees because they couldn't understand the paystubs (Paycom refused to make the paystubs undertandable for the common man); their ACA software is a joke--we'd enter hours monthly for over 160 employees, and then the system would "lose" those numbers; at year end, Paycom demands you look over your deductions codes and earnings codes to make sure Paycom has done their job correctly (when these items should have been put in correctly from the get go according to IRS regulations); also, at year end, Paycom demands you to correct their errors in ACA--and when you do correct the errors, somehow they're back the next day. I lost so much time arguing and fighting for our right to have accurate records, but they never rebated us for that time lost. This is a money-grubbing, over-promising, high hyped company that simply isn't worth the time and aggravation. Our start up was a joke, with no testing or on-site training.

Paycom never verifies bank accounts, so employees would enter what they thought was correct, expect a paycheck, and the paycheck would have to be manually cut because Paycom never verified the account--and then charged our company for the reversal. Paycom took 25% of our WOTC credits, and they took fees every chance they got.

It was the worst 29 months I've ever experienced with a software, but lesson learned. When we switched to our new provider, it was smooth as silk.
