We switched to Paycom as equity owner wanted to cut payroll expenses.Spent endless hours in setup due to the complexity of multiple company codes and numerous shifts with different pay rules.
Fantastic, excellent, we can do that were the comments from Sales and Setup. Young, seemingly bright people but I don't think any of them had any real world knowledge. They certainly didn;t know payroll and their own darn system! You can't even test the system, which I still can't imagine and we had to go live without a real test.
What a disaster. All the work we did completing documents, setting up shifts, pay grades, schedules and down to who belongs in what company code, was like they did nothing with that information. It was a terrible and it continued to be every single payroll. Thank God I left the company.
These people do not have a clue as to what they are doing. We escalated everything to as high as we could go.
Bright young people who kept saying fantastic, excellent and we can do that!If Paycom comes a knocking - do NOT let them in!
